of suction units VORTEX AS200 and VORTECO AS100 are composed of different models, which allow to meet every kind of need in
the field of small and medium surgery (i.e. the small operating theatres and the Vacuum-extraction procedures). |
| VORTEX AS 200/20LT |
It is the basic model of the series. It is suitable for: Emergency Room, hospital, endoscopy, ENT, tracheotomized people, gynaecology - endouterine treatments, small and medium surgery, small operating theatres, etc. Its technical characteristics are as follows:
- EC Certificate 93/42: EC 0051;
- Class IEC 60601-1: I BF;
- Usage for unlimited time (8 hours) / Noise: less than 50 dB;
- Power supply / Absorption: 230V – one phase, 50Hz / 138VA;
- Piston pump-unit, maintenance free (max. vacuum: 700 mmHg “0.9 atm, 0. 90 bar”, flow rate: 20lt/min, engine: 1/5 HP);
- Painted metal case, handle and seat for the jars, already prepared for the usage of disposable jars (Ø from 9 to 12 cm);
- One (two, on request) collection jar of 2 lt. made of unbreakable and autoclavable polycarbonate, with internal overflow device, and silicone autoclavable tubing (Ø mm 7x11);
- Vacuum regulator and vacuum check device (0-76 cm/Hg);
- Main switch and, on request, pedal switch STOP/PN (pneumatic, very safe, water-proof, anti-explosion);

It is the same as model VORTEX AS200/20LT, but with a more powerful pump-unit, which assures a higher aspiration speed. The extra technical characteristics are as follows:

| VORTECO AS 100-EMERGENCY |
It is the model of the series that can be supplied both with AC mains and with chargeable emergency battery. It is suitable for: private usage, Emergency Room, hospital, the emergency trolleys, etc. Its technical characteristics are as follows:
- EC Certificate 93/42: EC 0434;
- Class IEC of the unit: I B;
- Usage: 45 min. (even with battery) / Noise: less than 65 dB;
- Power supply / Absorption: 12VDC / 690VA;
- Class IEC / Power supply / Absorption: Class II / 230 V / 990 VA;
- Battery: hermetic and chargeable 12VDC 3 Ah;
- Piston pump-unit, maintenance free (max. vacuum: 600 mmHg “0.8atm, 0.80 bar”, flow rate: 20lt/min);
- Painted metal case, handle and seat for the jars;
- One (two, on request) collection jar of 1 lt. made of unbreakable and autoclavable polycarbonate, with internal overflow device, and silicone autoclavable tubing (Ø mm 7x11);
